They do the job I had a fairly large one and it got on my tits as it kept ripping the air intake as it was quite close to the road.

I found viper using the original air intake worked best.

I had the intake at the fog light at one stage but it made next to f*ck all difference apart from the constant added fear of puddles which p*ssed me off as well Smile

Provided you have a good cold air feed, the enclosed setups like this offer the best performance over standard. Yes

i have a viper which ive routed to the fog light hole and i find it works well........tends to work even better when your cold air feed pipe is soild i.e metal or double silicon because it doesn't compress under load

f*ck knows ? Lol

Your get some heat but I didn't notice any difference using this method to a fog light.

It's a fairly reliable setup after all the standard setup produces 167hp Smile

Drop me a pm if you want it

A cold air feed is a must with a large enough intake otherwise youll be strangling power. The standard gti6 intake is a work of art imo.. And all it needs is a free flow air filterYes

Well it does get cold air as its about 150mm from the floor so all the air that goes under the car gets suked up.

I'm gonna bump this again.

I've also got a CDA kit, but I'm guessing it somehow fell out of the cradle or it was in a crash as its smashed to bits and has a fibreglass repair.

My question is, should I relocate my battery and sort this properly or just get a standard box back on it.

I'm a big fan of the standard box like
