It's a diesel iirc.Anyway, reducing negative scrub would be to space out the wheels, or increase offset yes? ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

Yes, but it will increase torque steer and tramlining too.________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. Great, get enough of that as it is on full throttle. Roads around here are crap! The steering does make it a challenge to drive on the limit but that's rare on the road tbh. Gripper or quaife for 99% road work 16k a year? ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

ask Miles, he'd say plate, set a little lighter than say a gravel car or circuit car ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Hmm, I would too, except they've had a lot of issues with them. Anyway its a pipe dream. Way too much money. After a chat with denis it looks like I need to reduce front springs down to 380 max. Way too stiff at the moment! ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

Okay, if torque steer is an issue already, then either look at lifting the roll centre at the front a touch (will understeer more with power on but turn in will feel sharper), or increasing castor on the front up to 7-8 degrees, the extra camber will allow you to run more offset for feedback without suffering from tramlining quite so much, but steering will feel slightly slower midcorner.Have you measured the bumpsteer on the front? Might be worth altering the curve a bit (you don't always want zero bumpsteer, it can help with feel and transitions, ask Lotus...) ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. On reflection torque steer is only an issue on the road. On track I don't get it. I think that is due to the front springs being too stiff and the car is being deflected on bumps. The front-rear rake is about even at the moment. I can only adjust up on the front due to the daft nature of the current front spring setup. Basically I think I need to get the front springs changed and then go from there. I then have a decent starting point that I can refer back to - it is too compromised at the moment on the road. ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

May have missed it being mentioned but new engine mounts have just made worlds of different to the steering feel in my 6 and my 350Z ________________________________________ Lots of Nissans, two 306 GTI-6's. They are catching up! |

Mine is incredibly good now, the front end feels like one solid piece. Last bits were the mounts, but at the same time the subframe mountings and suspension topmounts were replaced, the difference is quite noticeable now. If you are looking at mounts Ive just had my Z33 used for development by a company called Vibratechnics, they offer 306 solutions that are apparently a lot better than others - shame I hadnt found them before my 6 went into the garage ________________________________________ Lots of Nissans, two 306 GTI-6's.
