I had real big plans for this car but have decided to carry out the conversion I want on a standard VTS rather than butcher this one.

I was never a big fan of the cituning kit as the arch clearance is based on the road car and the car in profile always looked "I felt" a bit heavy sided.

I have decided the history and almost "one off-ness" of her means to start cutting the kit up would be sacriligeous.

All I have done is remove the awful Cituning spoiler and fit an equally as awful interpretation of the Kitcar spoiler, oh and a facelift boot, the original boot is still here if required, only it has lots of holes in it.
And I fitted proper lights, and crappy mirrors which though small are surprisingly good.

She can come with either 16" or 18" wheels, the 18's do need paint but the tyres are very good.

I must say the ride is excellent very comfortable whilst being sporty, I think it is pretty much standard but have never checked. The rear beam bushes do knock but were only advisories on the MOT and are no worse than before.

The 1.8 16v is in there and runs spot on though the exhaust is a bit loud with the 4" backbox. I put 12months MOT on her when I bought her meaning there is still more than 6 months left although the tax runs out at the end of this month.

It has a more hospitable interior now with a 306 rallye drivers seat (which has wear on the doorside bolster) and door cards ect.

I want £1600 ono no big silly prices just what I paid plus my costs in sorting out a few niggles, a good price I think for a well known car in Xsara circles.

The kit is in good order for a FG kit with a scrape on the rear deivers arch and a poor repair on the front pass wing that will easily clean up, the bumper will need the bottom edge repairing again an easy job.

To be fair I have had it........6 monthsRazz I want the same or similar arch dimensions as the Dimma Peugeot kits. I can buy a full proper Kitcar kit through either a french kit distributor or from Mad Mark Watson who Rallycrosses an ex Hansen Xsara.

It would make more sense to use a full kit on another car rather than ruin/modify this one. If it doesn't go then hell yeah adapt and modify!!!!

No I don't have the old spoiler as it was pants, there are some really good WRC rep spoilers out there, unfortunately the one that was on this was the pretty crappy looking Cituning one.

Steve.Thumbs up

http://www.fastcarspares.com/ ?

much more of a flare on their arches, i.e a proper rep of the original kits.

£1500 odd

or are you going phase2?

£1600! but most of the panels are kevlar, doesnt include the £858 rear wing Laugh my ass off phase 1 wing in grp is £228, carbon is £420 and looks like the one pictured above.
