Any takers? Some guys have mentioned running BKUR7ET's as they're a little hotter, just wondered if anyone had any experience or suggestions? |

BKUR7ET's are cooler than standard not hotter. For your setup, I would recommend a set of NGK BKR6EIX's. By the way, this should be in the Engine's section, but for that you will have to pay for the membership. People frown upon those who ask technical questions in the General section as they see it as obtaining advice without paying. Normally these questions would be ignored, but seeing as your a long-time member here I thought I would just let you know. Cheers matey. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

I'm unaware of the advantage of Iridium's, but I know the main advantage of paid membership. Competitions. There aren't any competitions. ________________________________________ |

I wouldn't go that far, but engine questions in the General section just because somebody can't be bothered to pay is not really singing from the same hymn sheet as the rest of the members on here...hence some posts seem to go off topic, onto a new one...membership. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

After all, "Off Topic" is exactly that, not a technical question on the GTi-6/Rallye. So it's ironic you're getting an answer there if you are. There are too many people who do not pay up for membership who post in the General section, please don't encourage them when you have been bothered to pay up. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

There is a large wealth of knowledge both within this forum and the members who frequent it. This is a valuable asset to both existing members and new who sign up. I for one hope this continues for many years. There is truth in the argument that these cars are getting rarer due to the cheapness of certain examples and unfortunate accident damage, especially this time of year. However, I personally believe that this forum does have its place and is still a very useful tool for all who own a GTi-6/Rallye that wish to use it. If we all work together, we can make this place great, like it used to be back in the day. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

Sorry to hijack but I agree with Stan. Since my short time on this forum I've met some cool people, got my 'dream', lol 306 and found some cheap bits to keep my dream alive. Seriously though I've learned a lot and for all the people who say its gone to rat shit, come on, it may have been better before but I've found it the best forum I've been on. IMO there seem to be a few long termers that should probably f*ck off as there hanging around like a bad smell. Keep up the good (I think) work 306gti6 forum...Plugs, oh yeah, what he said. ________________________________________ IPhase 3 Astor. Built on Wednesday, 12th April 2000 in France.
