hi guys had a flat battery this morning its be on its way out so invested in a new one after work
fitted but the car will not start just turns over and over and i have no idea where to start
i did use jump leads to get it running this morning and it started straight away
since fitting the new battery i have no dash lights when trying to start not even hand break light
the only light that comes on is the battery light
pls pls pls can anybody help or give me any ideas on what to do as i'm stuck with out a car now

Check the battery connections, sounds like it may not be connected properly.

its a brand new heavy duty battery
all the connections are tight
its turning over like a good un but just does not fire up its like its got no spark

Or possibly the crank sensor.

I wonder if it's a fuse... I can't remember exactly but IIRC check fuse no.6

A fuse is a very good call. Does anything else electrical on the car not work? Especially interior lights and central locking.

after much shouting at the car in the cold today pulling fuses out putting them back in checking all the wires and where they should be were up and running,,,,
