Ive ordered my Colin satchel inlet an it should be here very soon. I sold the longman one. Am i going notice a difference in performance. I say performance as bhp an torque can be different up and down the revs an the highest doest mean the fastest? does it? I had 219 bhp 156 torque before. I mean i might get the same as before after re-map, but it all earlier in the revs. Or hold on to the higher figures for longer instead of just peaking high? i could ask sandy but i bet he gets ppl ringing him an boring him all the time. Plus there there busy. Any ppl experiences or info welcome cheers Dave

I doubt it. Im sure they've seen a good increase over the longman inlets in the past. You getting it mapped again once fitted i take it?

torque should be up a fair bit, you weren't producing much more than standard at all before.

200 lb/ft sounds a bit high. I'd estimate that it should make between 170-175.

don't listen to those 200 comments. Some joker whose trying to build a engine like mine is using my account. Ill be happy with same figures as long as they come in earlyer and stay for longer over the revs.

Plus he didt say nm or lbs/ft. As we all know 156 lbs/ft is 211nm. The jokers knowledge is not all that.
Only 4 injectors as i run a omex 500. I got it extremely cheap.

Not on the 500, I had to upgrade to the 710 or whatever its called to support 8 injectors.

fair enough, I know they have 2 injector drivers but it must be that they aren't separately programmable like the 710.

Well i fitted the inlet and had it re-mapped now. There was a doddgy wire with the crank sensor so i sorted that out too. It seems to pull earlier and a bit harder. Which is wat i wanted so iam happy with the upgrade.

219bhp 156lbft before and 230bhp 170lbft after. The other thing is there's 40lbft torque more at 2300rpm, but I putting sum of that down to a crank sensor problem. So I think it's been 50/50 with new inlet and fixing problem too. Does any one know rally ashs torque figure? His car seems a good one to gauge off? Cheers dave
