Thought I would start a fresh project thread for my new turbo setup, give you all an insite into the making of a high powered pug that will undoubtedly break every other week lol

I got the car back from Nortech performance earlier today, pics say a thousand words, so pics I shall show Smile

The tial waste gate isn't in the best place with regards to aesthetics, but makes lifer easier for making the down pipe, which should be made this week along with the exhaust.

After that, I can take the engine out, rebuild it with my Forged pistons and rods, then go over the engine bay, spruce it up, mock intercooler, boost pipes and rad etc

Hope you all like it.

Dan

Cheers guys.

Done away with the supercharger setup quite a while ago now, it wasn't what it was all made out to be, I know this will actually make some good power, the turbo made 600bhp on an Fto, but that was a 2.5l.

I've already spent about 3-4k on bits lol, I reckon I've got about another 1k-1.5k to spend to Finnish it off.

I suppose pugfest can be the date I shall aim to get it done for, as I'm going on oh holiday when FCS is on Sad

Shame it wont be at FCS this year, saw it on track at Rockingham and would have loved to see it lapping Donnington.

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fecking temperamental.

If you could call it that, it matched my mates e36 m3, so was more like 350bhp.

But I was bored of what ever power it was, and I thought I would have a bash at seeing what power the 6 engines can take, see how good the standard head can flow.

I really can't wait to see what it's like, I just hope it makes over 500bhp, Anthony under and I don't be happy lol

I think matt from pug one off said the standard head will do 450 but then again i cant see it needing much meat taken out of it for an extra 50 hp but it will be working hard. but still it will be stupidly fast if u can get the power down. I agree with your comment on the sc conversion yeah it is fast but i was always waiting for something to happen, very hard for me to explain.

Yea, it will most Deff be an improvement.

It should be driveable, the turbo itself has a small A/R and a small exhaust housing, so will boost earlier, should have full boost by 4.5k I reckon, intercooler pipes will be quite short with the inlet I've got, so will reduce lag.

I've got a good mapper to use, aswell as boost control in gears, and if I can work it, traction control and anti lag for showing off at the drag strip lol.

I'm eager to see what it will be like.

Pug1off's 205 I guess.

Oil connections are on the back of the block so I'm told, so will find them out when I get engine out to build it.

Lol, I hope not, I'm going to seam weld the subframe, give it a bit more strength, and maybe a phill lower strut special.
