In fairness, as you are new then no. There is a ton of info in all the FAQ's etc, and believe it or not there are plenty of members on here always willing to help.

There seems to be a milk float thread every day lately. Once you get past it and learn to ignore or just go with it, then its a very handy forum. Just be prepared for the endless amount of shit that comes with it.. At times you might find yourself throwing handfuls of your own faeces at the computer as some kind of primal attempt to get through to us.

Welcome to the club!

Cheers gents, I absolutely love the car as its been 10 years since I drove my mi 309
The 6 brings back a lot of memories, especially the lift off oversteer which I love and it feels slightly more front end pointy than the 9

Ill get to grips with it, just about to steal the brand new set of T1's that I had in the garage for the 9 and fit them on the 6 so ill see how it feels after that. The engine is a gem and feels like a sowing machine compared to the 9 on 45's

Would love to know who owned it before the last owner as they quite clearly lavished money on it

Cheers

Welcome to the club mate. Glad you saw through our milkfloat bullshit. There was one bloke a few months back who was about to buy a car and asked us for history on it. I think he seriously considered backing out of the deal until we owned up, LOL

As said above there's tons of info on here (except possibly about your particular car it seems) so just get reading!

That be Paul "the butcher" Westhead. Prolific member on here a few years ago then he retreated after he smashed his car up. Rumour had it that he cut and shut it. Did hpi not bring anything up?

Hpi said that the 6 had previously been an Hdi Micra turbo with 22inch wheels and an STIv rear spoiler.

Ive looked for the spoiler mounting holes but id guess they have been expertly filled and painted however, I found remnants of a Nissan badge in the 22inch spare wheel?

Its a mystery?

You sir either live for the 6 or have a mental retardation to still be repairing this!

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fecking temperamental.
