My passenger seat basically buggered up, the locking handle under the front side is stuck in the up position and the seat just slides freely unless I move the gold coloured clip on the rail right forward and it keeps it fully forward but unable to move.

I decided to remove the seat and now that I have it out, I have no idea what I should be looking for. Anyone know why it might be jammed upwards?

I once found a crab under a 306 passenger seat. I very much doubt it would case that problem though.

They're a f*cking nightmare, quite a common fault actually, have you been to the seaside recently?
