Ok so today the headgasket showed signs of wanting to rape my bank account..
Lots of pressure in the coolant system, hesitation in low revs, cutting out,Misfire on startup etc.

I am in two minds wether to fix and sell or sell as it is.
Could someone give me an idea of price if sold as it is or headgasket done incl cambelt by a reputable garage.

Spec,pics and info below

No Question. FIX IT.

Dont expect much change from £300/400 tho.

Cambelt/water pumps been done so save yourself a couple of quid there too.

Is it ok to use the same cambelt? I have receipts for it about 4k miles ago.

Speak to Rich at Lynx he does a Lynx Power Engineering MLS head gasket & bolt set which may be worth you using. Don't break it just for the Head Gasket going. If you do sell it let me know ;-)

As said, Rich already has a Built engine ready, sure he will sort you out a deal on fitting as well. Yes it abit of money but you will love it after.

Car is looks so nice be a shame to get rid or at worst someone buy it and break it.

Three weeks, 242 miles.
I sold my 16v 106 Rallye thinking I want more comfort and something a bit more refined but i miss the lairyness off the 106. Also its cheaper to run and I know them inside out. Really want another fast road 106 that i can Enjoy and fix. I'd feel bad to get the 306 on track or abuse.

Quite glad I did not commit to bidding again on eBay now! As said fix it! Lovely example worth a lot more when it's done Yes Well worth £2,250 fixed (what you advertised it for) imo!

Edit: although get rid of the Gmax gash!
