Yes, this is the size recommended for the Rotrex oil circuit. It's unused, and therefore clean inside, so could be used either for engine oil or charger oil (or any other fluid). ________________________________________ Rich |

I'd be very interested in this, I just need to see if I can get hold of some 1/2BSP-F to 6JIC-F adapters, as mine's all 1/2BSP.But since the fitting fell out of mine whilst driving, I'm not tempted to buy another at full whack! |

You know is'nt suitable for the main engine oil circuit right? ________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies. I sell new and used welding equipment in the Hampshire area. I may be being 100% thick here... Is this one the one purely recommended for the Supercharger kits, hence the smaller 6JIC connections? |

It's for cooling the traction fluid in the Charger, not engine oil. For engine oil coolers you should be looking at AN-10 or even AN-12 fittings, unless of course you want a massive restriction and subsequent drop in oil pressure of course ________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies. Fair enough, I didn't realise that 6JIC were that small.Actually... Thinking about it you're a welder - how well can you weld Ally - infact, save destroying the thread, I'll send you a PM. |
