I'd like a look at the backbox. Is it noisy? Don't want a boom box. Whereabouts in Redruth are you? I work in Redruth so could meet up?

Scorpion is what you want mate Thumbs up

Ive got a Scorpion back box with a poweflow mid section. Nice and subtle and a little raspy when i put my foot down.

Not boomy on motorway runs either....its perfect really and has a great looking tailpipe

SOLDLOL . Well done that man. Think I'm going to have it as long as chappie still has it on Thursday. Did I read they need some sort of gasket to mate to std mid? Sorry to hijack thread...

They used to require an olive to fit as the back box used to have a flared out connection same as mid box ? Not sure if they are still like that though ?

Ideally yeah, if you want it to go to standard mid section, initially i had my Scorpion just clamped to a standard pug mid section too. Sounds almost identical to my current setup so it will sound spot on for you i think.

I never got around to sealing the join where the clamp is on that setup so had a minor leak of exhaust gases. It never really bothered me in truth.

You can probably get an O-ring from Scorpion or from any motorfactors (just make sure it has the same diameter as the inner part of the pipes and with exhaust paste should seal ok.

Mine is all welded now so its a perfect seal
