Hi, i'm just after some quick advice, I just got my Philipm lower brace through the post and noticed there was something strange about it. I was wondering whether this is normal or not. It doesn't seem to be 'square', i'e you can sit in it a flat surface and it rocks quite considerably.

Yep, it's deliberate to make sure there's some tension/pre-load on the brace once bolted up, they're all made like that.

Ann don't worry it's just because the car he modelled it on had a twisted subframe.

As with any of these mods, don't expect to put it on and immediately notice your car transformed. However combine it with an upper brace, solid rear mounts, rich_w roller bushes and you'll notice a massive improvement Yes

Got all these ready to go on, can't wait. The front bushes are knackered, as are my top mounts, so i think the difference will be night and day.
