Hi Chaps, I've got a 307 1.6 petrol that my mrs runs and the other night it expired on the way home. Dropped it off at the auto electritions the next and he diognosed a faulty BSI unit which he reckons is main dealer supply and fit only as they needed to be coded or set up.
Problem is this cars only a grands worth and judging by the figuers the spark was telling me its gonna be touch or go if its worth doing. Apart from this problem the cars pretty good so I'd rather not scrap it but saying that I dont want to spend almost what its worth sorting it.
Anyone got any idea's of a cheapo fix other that junking the engine and putting a six unit in.
Cheers Martin.

That guy is running Ash's 30mm ARB, Solid Mounts & 23mm Torsion Bars & some adjustments on the camber. Admittedly, the guy is an awesome driver, but it just go's to show how well these cars can handle with the right modification's
