Matt and i checked for play in the ball joints, there was none, they are both rock solid, even got a breaker bar on there and they wont move!

Still got that rattle on occasion, although its not done it as pronounced as when you were in the car since that day.

With regards to the shuddering under braking, i think some component of the calipers/system might be binding and has ruined my discs, might try get it on a brake rollers that MOT stations use to get more of an indication...?

Anyway, guna be replacing the discs + pads again soon and just triple checking that i clean and copperslip absolutely everthing Doh

Did you pop the ball joint out of the hub and look for ovaling because the pinch bolt will keep it pretty solid otherwise. Checked the brackets holding the calipers for the breaking shudder? Or if its none of the above id be afraid to say it could be the steering rack.

Didnt pop it out of the hub no, i was under the impression if it was ovalled you can see the play in it without popping it out Unsure

Bracket on the driver side pinch bolt nut was slightly loose but all tight now and judder is still there and violent..

Cant see it being steering rack - steering is great and it really sounds like a rattle from the driverside wheel, who knows LOL

Just need to get the brakes redone then she will be pretty sweet to drive again, she is quite a nice drive besides those two issues Smile
