Just out of interest, what would a very clean gti6 be worth, but fitted with the j4r engine?

The interior seats are perfect, no wear marks at all.

The reason its fitted is the timing belt went twice on the gti6 lump that was in it, so it was replaced with a 19k mile j4r engine complete.

I suppose it could be treated as a rolling shell, it has 4 brand new tyres, all round very good condition.

I'm not looking for any offers on it, just wondering its value.

Thanks
Dan,

Is it the w*nky engine in the xsi? To be brutally honest it isn't worth a hat full of cold p*ss. £300 If your lucky.

Scrap money I'm afraid, when good complete 6's are less than a Grand you cannot expect allot. Just look at the value of XSI's and insurance would be a odd one I guess
