just fitted my new C5 alloy steel's on my 205 along with new Gti6 calipers, Mintex 1155 pads, braided lines, new discs etc and the top of the caliper just slightly rubs on the inner topside of the rim. its only fairly slightly and there isnt much resistance but took the wheel back off and can see the marks on the caliper and inside of the rim. i think once the pads have worn down a bit will move the caliper away from where its rubbing.Anyone else had any issues when fitting C5's? ps these are on 205 1.9 hubs but im sure the offset is exactly the same... ________________________________________ 230 hp 2.1 16v XU 205 rallye on jenveys Project thread here309 3dr K20 Type R |

have taken it out for a drive properly now and covered about 25 miles, has stopped the slight rubbing. no damage on either rim or caliper so should be fine. ________________________________________ 230 hp 2.1 16v XU 205 rallye on jenveys Project thread here309 3dr K20 Type R |

Carrier stays put but the caliper moves inboard with pad wear, as the piston extends.________________________________________ I'm Si btwNight Blue VW Golf GTD Bianca LBSC Rallye - Track/Road Slag Project Thread Sparkling Silver Mini Cooper D - Super Dooper - (The other half's wheels) |
