My mate has just bought one of these junkers, a 172 of the earlier kind. been stood for about 6 months. £300, no mot or tax. ran for a few days and now it wont start. First fail was a seize alternator preventing it from turning over, then the rad shit its self and now the fcuking thing wont start. ________________________________________ My GTi6 track projectWhite Rallye project |

He wants to get it going and use it as a run about maybe the odd track day. just a toy really. I thought the 6 was tight to work on but the clio is something else. Its just shoe-horned in! It was running nice unit it just stopped. No spark now, done the coil and the crank sensor but still turns over and wont fire. The code reader comes up with nothing either.________________________________________ My GTi6 track projectWhite Rallye project |
