Does anyone know the correct size bolt - I hear its at 20mm x M6 allen bolt - does that sound right.
I have already checked specs on the Thule website and they don't go into this kind of detail

I've just cobbled together some thule roof bars and the thule 1017 fitting kit off ebay - the only thing that I am missing are the 2 bolts to fit the foot pack to the holes under the rubber door seal at the front (3dr). Does anyone know the correct size bolt - I hear its at 20mm x M6 allen bolt - does that sound right. I have already checked specs on the Thule website and they don't go into this kind of detail Ta' Dan |

I think they might be larger than m6... but then I can't tell as mine have welded themselves to the car... little bas**rds. Anyway, you want something like you describe with a low profile head so that it doesn't interfere with the rubbers.________________________________________ 200+ secret squirrels hiding under the bonnet with 4 wide mouth frogs... |

Ta' - I'll make sure i fill the threads with grease before hand so they don't weld them selves on as I'm planning on just leaving them on the car most the time as I can't be A*sed taking them on and off. |

On the Pug roofbars it uses a countersunk allen bolt on the front.________________________________________ Spanner Monkeys Monkey SpannerForum Search Clicky |
