Me and my mate done an engine change on my 6 yesterday, everything is in/on the engine turns but won't start any ideas in wot we have done wrong or wot the problem could be

is the little red light fashing in the dash when you turn it over?

from an experience i had, it could be ecu

which ecu are you using? is it your old one or one that came with the engine? i had this problem 2 weeks ago when i changed my engine.

Is the fuel pump priming ?

Try the knock sensor ? The big red button under the bonnet at the back left

Have you checked to see if you have a spark? Surely this would be the 1st thing.

All done fellas, made a bit off a school boy error we didn't plug in the wiring loom properly lol
