hi there as i was saying last week my friends nile suffered some tapping noises (knocking noises). we today removed the head and discovered a hole in the edge of the piston (pot 4) about the size of a ten pence. all the valves are perfect. they have been pressure tested and no leaks. i just cant understand how there is a hole in the piston. can anybody spare any advice ?? |

its knackered! a pressure test will not reveal bent valves, what are the bores and combustion chamber like?tbh engines are pretty cheap so unless youre going to build something special with new pistons at 86.5mm+ just get another ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |
