those bearings that Rich sells will be just that Wink

for his top builds Sandy wont tell you what he uses, but most are just proper o.e bearings.


"diesel bearings" Laugh my ass off they're the same part number for a lot of them!



^^ This is true.

The heavy duty / uprated bearings are actually made of a softer material (lead / copper rather than an aluminium / tin alloy).

The oil clearances are also slightly different, to allow better oil flow cooling to the journals.

This all depends on what you want doing and to what spec. Anyone can skim a head, you pay for the experience and knowledge someone has of that particular engine.
