Its a GTI6/XSI cat back system which I got a few weeks back and fitted to my HDI. Its the Centre section/middle box and rear box with a 3.5"(I think) tail pipe.

Its a straight fit for the GTI6/Rallye/XSI etc and I fitted it to the HDI easy enough by shortening the pipe from the cat by 3 inches and just sleeving it.

System is in good condition with all welds in very good nick and a nice fit in the bumper cut out.

Im only selling as I've been put on consultation at work for redundancy and Im trying to get some funds in.

These retail for £340 new, and Im just trying to get back what I paid out for it.

£140ono collected from Wardle, Rochdale, OL12. I could meet locally or will travel some reasonable distance to meet if costs are covered. I will be removing it from the HDI this weekend.

Reduced to £140 collected

Would you be interested in splitting this as I already have a scorpion back box and my pug mid section has had it. Only need the mid section....and would need delivery...what does the full system sound like on a 6? I'm lead to believe it quite subtle which is what I'm after. Also, is this a new type mid section ie revised design as I've read in various places that the scorpion mid sections are renowned for breaking up (which is a bit off for stainless steel LOL)
Thanks

I'll have to check on delivery but o cannot see it being cheap so it would be about 80 quid each but ill have to check. Tbh I could do without the hassle of messing with postage on such a bulky item.

Just in case it helps, I was just looking up prices for delivering exhausts - £20 collected and delivered with Paisley Freight.

Spoken to Scorpion direct and best price they can give me on a new mid section is £165 delivered, which is too much tbh, even though the guy I spoke to said they are of revised design.

I think I'm guna get a quote from my local powerflow place to see how much a custom mid section will be

Why didn't you just spend the extra £20 & get the gen Scorpion mid section?

Because they are known for crumbling under warranty, supposed to be a revised design but again i think you need an olive ring to make it seal properly and then i would have to buy that part and pay to have it fitted.

Much much cheaper just to go custom built and have them build it to fit in the first place....which i had done yesterday and it sounds spot on Thumbs up

Just need a new Cat now Doh

They do, if you have the original receipt then its just the pain in the arse for the buyer to chase up a new mid section every year or however often they fail Sad

TBH even the magnex ones blow apart in no time. It seems hard to find a long lasting center section.
