New oil filter and sump plug washer just fitted. Could there possibly be a leak?

Tested by mechanic at local garage with an oil pressure tester. He didnt have time to investigate further today, so just trying to see what it could be before going back into the garage on monday! Yeh it is odd. Timing belt has just been done too. Timed up spot on, but no oil pressure! I've just changed the sump plug washer and oil filter the other day, what could I have done wrong? Done it plenty of other times without any problems.

What phase car is it?

If it's a Phase 1 or a Phase 2, you could have the interference type oil pump drive, which isn't positively located via a keyway on the crankshaft.

It is just driven by the clamp load from the crankshaft pulley bolt.

If your timing belt has been recently changed, and this problem has just developed, to me it sounds suspicous. I would check the toque on the crankshaft pulley bolt - if this isn't tight enough, your oil pumo won't be getting any drive.

Its a phase 3. There is no oil pressure whatsoever. Just waiting for my mechanic to have a look at it hopfully in the next few days. The torque on all the bolts was done by the book though, so should be spot on! Getting worried now! Unsure
