look behind the door card, damaged plastic sealing sheet will let water in.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

i just had this exact problem with my driver side. it will be the inner door lining under the door card. you will problably find that the seals have fallen off and this lets water that runs in past the window, run into the car as it lands on cables/wires within the door. the seals are ment to stop the water from flowing all the way to the door card by blocking its path and directing it back to the outer door skin where it can run out the drain holes. with the seals gone ital just run in out of the door speakers and fill your footwell. easy fix tho, just take the door card off and real seal the inner linning with some sort of waterproof sealent. i used bathroom stuff and its been fine since |

Also worth taking the door seal off and squeezing the seal together so as to create a tight fit when re fitted ? Once removed and squeezed tight use a hammer and piece of wood to bang it back on the door frame. This will ensure a correct fit and should stop the seal filling with water and dumping it in the car. The seals don't like being removed and put back on badly ? If you look at the seal it has holes in the top of it which once fill are designed to allow water to flow out and out the car, if the seal is not fitted correctly it won't do it's job |
