no i have owned a 1.4 for the past 6 years and have finally moved upto a gti now im 23 and can afford the insurance. i have just started renting a unit and have sat the 1.4 in there. im toying with it atm. lots of spares and bits i could swap over. it has dtm wing mirrors which would weigh less than my electric ones. in heinsight i stripped the 1.4 out totally and it made it a right hoot to drive. very nippy and fuel efficient. i dont want to go as far with the gti i like the rear seats and speakers and dashboard and carpets and most of the rest of the interior. im trying to do the same with this but without ruinging the comfort and asthetics. so things light replaceing glass to plastis including side/rear windows, carbon fibre bonnet and loads of other cheaky little things i hope to improve on this car. ________________________________________ the world is changed by people in sheds |

Not sure why you would want to make the headlights lighter. Surely striping what you can from interior is enough?________________________________________ I Live for the 306TEAM CHERRY PINK RALLYE 2008 BMW ///M 320d |
