Does anyone know if there are silicone caps like these available in various sizes?

I've only been able to find this samco one in 19mm.

Cheers

The answer is yes, Paul Dickinson had some on his race car engine before he sold me the shell, they were available in various metric sizes, I'll text him on Monday and see if he can remember where he sourced them.

P.S. He's a tart too Wink

i got around the blanking issue by going further down the line and deleting things that weren't required at the source LOL

what phil said is a good shout, i have done this a few times but have opted to properly seal stuff now with like liquid metal and welding stuff up properly

well I'd rather blank it off at the source and I think I've removed as much as possible.

removed that metal water pipe from rear of block so want to block up the outlet from water pump, did you weld that?

have you welded thermostat outlets for matrix too?

I cant weld (although its something I want to learn), so was just going to cap them to save taking them to someone else.

oh, and happy birthday Cheers

yeah thermostat's all welded up [s16 thermostat housing] except the top rad hose outlet

you can just see here: http://www.rikky.net/upload/306/8.jpg

the only outlet to the rad hose is left but the others are cut/welded shut so there's nothing there. i have put liquid metal into one of them

yeah thats what I plan on doing - only having the rad outlets and blocking the rest off.

will see if Jim can find those caps and if not I'll look into getting them welded.
