Had a slight incident the other day, thankfully not in the '6 (even though it is a shitter Roll eyes ). But anyway, the combination of a greasy, ice rink like roundabout, 28p plastic tyres and oversteer of epic proportion resulted in my zx having a confrontation with a rather sturdy lamp post... and losing. Boo. Thumbs down

After being stuck in the car for several minutes with over a dozen cars simply driving past (thanks a bunch you c*nts Thumbs up), I managed to cut the belt and get out as 2 guys in a van finally stopped and called an ambulance

A quick trip to A&E later and a checkup revealed nothing more than bruised ribs and hip. After a few painkillers I was allowed on my way. Was expecting to end up like a sardine in a tin can as i saw the lamp post approaching through the side window Black eye
Oh well, the search for a replacement runabout begins!

Pics to give an idea of how much body filler is required Whistle

That's nasty looking. Shock

You lucky to only have bruises. That could have been really sore.

Right on the B post, !!!! if that had hit a foot further forward it could have been a very different story.

Central locking had a mind of it's own, only tended to work on 1 side, but would sometimes randomly lock the doors when driving LOL

About 35ish round the roundabout, not sure how much speed was lost before the impact though. Didn't get any grief from the PC, he was already on his way to an incident involving a biker just a bit further down the road, so it was just put down to road conditions.

How thoughtful of them eh, it's not like you could possibly miss the car! Roll eyes

Very true, certainly wasn't a pleasant experience, but a bit of a walk in the park in comparison to your accident!

Aye, my dad said the same thing. Another point mentioned by the copper was the seat bolster, which will have provided a bit of cushioning from the impact. The fact that the floor folded and pushed the seat inwards helped aswell

Damn those milk floats! Laugh my ass off

In all seriousness glad you're ok Mike. Wilson wasn't driving by any chance was he? He likes to do things like that to cars, a certain Seat Arosa springs to mind... Ninja
