To all,

Me and my colleague are in need of a willing driver to lend us his/her GTI-6 or Rallye for a day, for an hours worth of pictures and some back to back testing against a 2010 Renault Clio 200 Cup.

It would be helpful to have a standard model, however as there are fewer and fewer standard specimens, one that is lowered (subtly) or one with a different exhaust (subtle) is also welcome.

Date is yet to be confirmed, as Renault have yet to confirm a specific date yet.

Let me know whether you would be willing to lend the car for a day.

All the best

Ben

I'd say Carl Chambers may be your best man for the job - he's got one something daft like 849 miles on in peferct A1 condition.

i'm just round the corner and would be interested in this, but she needs a service and i reckon some top mounts as it's grinding so i don't think it'd do the 306 gti6 justice against an RS 200 somehow!

Pay me expenses for the day/weekend and you can have my 2001 Subtle modded GTi6 for the day. Once I've got you to sign a few T&C's in case you damage her etc.

One of the best examples available IMO

Clicky for images I've put forward for 2012 calendar that might inspire you

Sorry, but Laugh my ass off

Any excuse to post a picture ay? The last thing we need is someone in the media getting hold of your car. Will you let them use hi res pics or will they have to use low res in case someone steals them?

As for the t&c's, do you honestly think someone in the media wouldn't have disclaimers etc to sign for using your car? You'd also need to sign a property release form to say they have your consent to use the car and take and publish pictures, and if they were paying for your services they'd usually cover damages. If it was a voluntary shoot though it'd just be like letting your mate borrow your car and probably wouldn't be covered for damages.

All down to their t&c's though. Highly unlikely you'll be able to specify your own t&c's, there's enough GTI6's out there to mean yours isn't exactly highly desirable and they'll just look for someone else who WILL work to their terms.

Thanks Mei Thumbs up but I wouldn't let anybody else drive them, it's bad enough that Jenna drives the phase 2 LOL

When I took the 1.9 on the photo shoot I made it clear that I had to drive it, obviously with this being a road test they would need to.
