im thinking of buying a vts because they are cheaper and newer but are they any good?

I had a ph2 Xsara which was ok. Easy to find lower millage examples and full leather is a nice option and the aircon pipes dont seem to corrode anywhere near as bad as the 306 ones do. Downside as others mentioned they are pig ugly from the front. |

Lighter than a 6 iirc by 10kgs or at least the series one ones were. Also some will say the 6 is quicker. I can assure they're not  ________________________________________ My old man wrote me a letter from prison once. It said if you don't want to end up in here, stay away from crime, women and drugs. Trouble is, that don't leave you much else to do, does it? |

If you're going to S/C an Xsara i would have a look through the forum. There was one done by Carl a while back that had issue with the ECU. Possibly because it was a newer engine with a different ECU on it im not sure. |

If you want to supercharge it though get the Phase 1 as it hasnt got the multiplexed wiring like the Xsara Carl did. |
