Yes, I designed in a safety margin of 3mph to avoid stud snap, you obviously didn't read the disclaimer Roll eyes

The rears are alloy, but not the fronts!Whistle

And I would guess the top part and the bottom part that bolts to beam of the front mount is a standard one cut down by the looks of it?Wink

Not that either of those things effect these mounts or the job they do though!!!Thumbs up

How exactly would you do that? Dimensionally they are the same, performance they are the same, constuction they differ, price they differ. Thats it.

Oh really? I thought the other solid ones might not be as stiff for some reason? Suppose now you put it that way it seems silly. I'm guessing the only real difference is they are a teeny bit lighter and won't rust?

If there was any flex/bending load on them they would've failed by now (there is'nt, so they don't by the way) I have a feeling they will be similar in weight, I'd be suprised if the difference was huge. I would guess that the Baker ones would be slightly lighter, but don't quote me on that. I can assure you the Baker ones do rust, the passivate finish is very thin and does corrode, however it won't affect them in the slightest unless you parked your car in the sea every day. Of course the ally blocks wont rust though. Mine are treated inside and out with rust killer before painting which seems to work well enough, can't say what length others go to to prevent corrosion in theirs though.
