Hi all Smile

Ok, battery on my 6 was changed, speedo and odometer/digital part stopped working!!!
The rev counter is fine and so are the other gauges, temp/fuel etc.

Just the speedo and digital.
The digital screen is still lit up and the mileage is showing but its not clocking trip miles.

Any fabulous life saving ideas?

Thanks in advance Guys. Thumbs up

The speed sensor located on the top of the gearbox could have been knocked by the sounds of it. It is unlikey if only the battery was changed but thats what mine did when the sensor took a knock.

Pull the shunt fuse (odd looking fuse in the fusebox under the steering wheel) and re insert, that will sort it.

Anyway, i found that fuse and removed it with no luck Sad
Had the battery off completely to see if i could see any problems also with no luck Sad

From under the car follow the path of the drivers side driveshaft and it is above where it enters the diff. It should be in a silver coloured pouchy type thing Wink
