Would there be much benefit in running 7.5" width wheels over 7" wheels?

According to the rimstock site the difference between a 17x7" and 17x7.5" pro race 1.2 wheel is 0.3kg, so 1.2kg extra in total.

As this isnt a huuuuge amount, would any increase in traction be worth the extra weight?
Also, I dont mind having to roll the arches, but would spacers be required for e15 offset?

Cheers

ET15 would be best but depending on tyre (some makes have chunkier wall) would depend on how much if any rolling would be needed

I'm running 8x16 on an ET15 with 195/45 tyres, odd tyres on rear 1 tyre will rub on either side

I was thinking of running used clio cup slicks, so 20/62 17, but could go with r888s if not

More rolling resistance and aerodynamic drag, but this shoud be easily offset by the increase in speed you are able to carry through the corners.
