Its fairly good but not precise. It looks like its doing a very accurate time and you see the speedo increase in the corner of your eye with the speedo on your dial as you accellerate.
I downloaded this app on my N8 for £1.50.
"Drag Race: This application uses internal phone accelerometer to compute 0-60 mph (0-100 km/h - customizable from settings). It also provides reaction time and intermediate times. Using this, one can improve personal scores."
I think its good to get estimate 0-60 and will try it in other cars soon. I tried twice, both in safe environments and both hands free as you only have to tap the screen when at stand still, watch the traffic lights then put your foot down.
1st time I got 0-60 in 6.24 secs with a reaction time of 0.3 secs (Not sure if thats included in the final time or not).
2nd time I got 0-60 in 7.15 secs with a reaction time of 0.78 secs.
I'll keep trialling the app but for £1.50 I think its a good app to have if not misused (ie used when not safe and not handsfree).
Anyone else got this app or any other apps that do the same thing? This is the only one I found.
