Have seen this banded about in several threads which is going to get overlooked.

I can't be the only one that thinks it's a bit odd that you can sell 1 car for free being a basic member, yet can't receive 1 PM.

I think it would make sense to allow free members to be able to have a 5,10 PM capacity, purely so they can receive some form of communication.

Even if it was given for the next 30 days or so, allowing people who have traded etc get back in contact with sellers, buyers etc. Then be taken away after that priod.

Otherwise I can see we will be inundated with FAO XXX threads.

Giving free members 5/10 PM's isn't going to stray them away from paying. Perhaps stop free members from advertising parts unless they pay also. That's a good incentive towards members paying.

Thoughts?

I think that non members should be allowed to post in the cars for sale section as the number of posts have been slashed and I will be looking to get a 306 soon I would rather buy one off the forum than on eBay

OK, free membership gets you ... wait for it ... 5 PMs.

Allesclar, I can't find your transaction details, can you email your Worldpay confirmation email to admin@306gti6.com ?
