Is there any reason not to supercharge a 2.1 conversion, or is it even possible? DiscussAm considering having that done tbh. After I refresh every last bit if suspension ________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |

It depends on how high your compression ratio is. ________________________________________ Ex SC-6Now in a Megane R26 |

no reason why it can't be done, though with the power gains you get from just the standard 2.0 there's no point really.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Surely you would have epic torque though? Any educated guesses as to what you would end up power wise________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |

So its a no then? Would it be more reliable? I.e under less stress when making the same power?________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |

No, re-boring that far will increase the risk of engine failure. You'll gain a little power and torque yes, but assuming you're taking about low boost it'll add about £1k to the cost (machining, pistons, mapping, etc.) ________________________________________ Rich |

If you were going to go to the extent of changing the crank then for supercharging purposes you would be better off going for the 2.1 td crank and getting almost 2.2 with 87mm pistons?________________________________________ 2.1 16v 306 Rallye. |
