daddy5times Junior User Location: halifax Registered: 29 Jul 2011 Posts: 69 Status: Offline	Post #1 Morning all a little help needed .I've just bought a thermostat elbow as mine leaked a bit . problem is I don't know how to remove the old one from the pipe that goes to top of radiator ther seems to be a metal insert and a clip thx in advance

When you undo it the housing will seperate and the gasket will be disturbed. So won't tighten now . Is there anything I can do ?also fan doesn't kick in till about 100 degrees is that right thx in advance
