Morning all a little help needed .I've just bought a thermostat elbow as mine leaked a bit . problem is I don't know how to remove the old one from the pipe that goes to top of radiator ther seems to be a metal insert and a clip thx in advance |

Lift the clip out and pull.Do you have new gaskets? When you undo it the housing will seperate and the gasket will be disturbed. For what they cost, it is worth popping new ones on. ________________________________________ |

Hi I've pulled clip out and tried to pull but I'm scared I'll break the pipe is the metal thing to come out with the pipe ?? |

Quick update put thermostat in put new elbow on .still a little trickle of water coming out.noticed 1 of the bolts has previosly been over tightened!! So won't tighten now . Is there anything I can do ?also fan doesn't kick in till about 100 degrees is that right thx in advance |
