Do you mean it hasn't even covered 100 miles?

Grammar police will be all over you for this thread.

All I can say is from your description (or what I understand from it) it doesn't sound too promising.

There's one on top of the rad, one on the thermostat housing and the one you mentioned by the exhaust.

Use a bottle in the rad to get the water higher than all the bleed points and you cant really go wrong.

It could do and hopefully you will be lucky and it's only air in there.

If bleeding doesnt cure it then get it checked properly by a garage Asap as the longer you drive it the more damage you'll be doing if the gasket has gone.
Also I wouldnt put any of these stop leak/ K seal products anywhere near my engine if it were me.

i'd find out whats causing your HG issue. who did the skim on the head?

do you actually know its the HG gone, have you tried to bleed it a few times? following the guide on here? with the bottle method.

apart from the bubbles why do you think the HG's gone? has it over heated?, down on power, done a compression test?

im running a standard MLS headgasket at 230 bhp and no issues, even if i was running 270 i'd still use a standard one.

whats the spec on the engine btw?

The stop light came on at pug fest it was low on water. I let it cool the topped it up. It ran fine for the rest of the day up the hill. its not down on power its just wen i rev it up the head tank bubbles like you put a air line in it.
advice?
cheers

have a good look at the guide in the FAQ section and bleed it again. recon thats your issue.
is it using water then or was it just low? if you have a air lock in the systemt water level could of dropped because of that

If the stop light came on then you prob cooked it ? you may have warped the head ???

I doubt the gasket has failed after just 100 miles ??

Have you checked to see if you have a water leak some where ???

Dav1 chill out!

90% chance it's just air in your system, it will bubble when you rev up because you're increasing the water pressure by spinning the water pump faster.

If you suspect headgasket then presumably you think it's gone between a water gallery and a cylinder. There are two very easy ways to check this.

1, Have a sniff of the bubbles in your header tank, if it smells like petrol then there's something wrong, if not (or you can't make your mind up) then it's fine.

2, Take your spark plugs out, if one looks like it's been steam cleaned (by comparison to the rest)then there's a problem.
