From my limited research I understand that the harnesses with the aircraft style buckles (the cool ones) are not road legal.

How many of you have these fitted to a road going car and do you get any grief from the MOT man or any run-ins with the plod?

I have them in my rally car, and that passes an mot each year, as does every other rally car, so i would guess they are ok!

That's what I was thinking, and I'm sure there are various production cars that have these fitted from the factory, but have read that even they arnt strictly road legal.

Just wanted to see what people's experiences have been

I had them and had no problems come MOT time.

Also had a VOSA tug and was fine then too.

SVA'd two rally cars with them in and never had any problem Dunno
