I have Pm'd jord294 as I know he does them but not had a reply yet.
I want one thats had bearings, Seals, shafts on the trailing arms replaced if need, then I can bolt it on with my solid beam mounts and so on.

Who are the main people that can supply me with a rebuilt rear beam so I can do a simple swap of beams on the car rather than taking mine off and repairing it.I have Pm'd jord294 as I know he does them but not had a reply yet. +1 i'm looking at doing this too, really can't be f*cked rebuilding my own beam. Seen a few 205 and 309 beam specialists on the googleweb and i'd assume the 306 is laid out pretty similarly..?________________________________________ Bye bye Sundance Kid |

the downside i have with supplying freshly painted rebuilt gti6 beams, is that because the abs sensors won't come out in one piece, i can't get the arms done techdw - sorry i didn't pm back i can supply fully repainted beams (just without abs sensors) e.g fully rebuilt powdercoated gti6 beam, using genuine parts bearings, seals, new trailing arm shafts, mounts, disc protectors and new abs sensors will cost nearly £700 still half the price a main dealer would charge unpainted rebuilt beams cost from £280 i can supply vts bars, shocks, solid mount kits etc, but obviously the price increases current climate tells me people can't justify spending £££s on just one part of a car although, 205 gti owners are willing to spend good money on axles i can supply ________________________________________ FRESHLY RE-FURBISHED GTI BEAMSFITTING AND LOWERING AVAILABLE. A refreshed beam is money well spent. Wouldn't bother with making it pretty though!________________________________________ Clio 182 FF |

Jord how much would we be talking for a rebuilt beam, unpainted, 40mm lower with VTS bars and no shocks? When you say you can't do the trailing arms, what do you mean? Surely you can remove them and replace the bearings and shafts? ________________________________________ Bye bye Sundance Kid |

in a recent telephone conversation i have had, i have explained that it is harder NOT to supply a beam with mounts, as ideally the bolts need to be tight to set the dummy shock properly none of my beams come with shocks (unless buyer specifies) and as i only have the one set of vts bars, i would have to charge a similar cost to new ones i can do trailing arms but if a customer wants them powdercoating, then new abs sensors will be needed not many people are willing to spend £80 each ________________________________________ FRESHLY RE-FURBISHED GTI BEAMSFITTING AND LOWERING AVAILABLE.
