Looks like a good one. Are they really putting a dragstrip in the center of Zevenaar?? Its quite close to where my GF lives. Where do you live Paul?

These remus back boxes are nice, and expensive too. But i dont like the sound of it when running steady at 3,5 to 4 k rpm. It's too..... how should i say... resonating booming Dunno

I am very confident the Simons exhaust will perform, look and sound awesome with the custom downpipe and ceramic sports cat. Cool
By the way i will be ordering my pads and discs in the next few days. I'll go for stock brembo discs from the 207RC and the pads from the Volvo S60 2,5T Cool

I checked the calipers, and according to my calculations there will be 9mm of space that the pistons will have to travel to start braking. So i guess it's all good even without the inserts you talked about Dunno

Remus sucks, trust me youll love the sound of a boosted engine trough the Simons

mine sounded perfect!!!

Theyre not really putting a dragstrip in the centre, but theres a straight where the spectators can look and hear the cars in action.

Zevenaar is around 145 km from me, but thats no problem... if the weather is good , this should be a nice meeting bro.

Well had all day on it today cleaning up the odds and sods, mainly fitting the rear torsion bars and the hybrid anti roll bar (small issue with that). got all that sorted and stood back and looked at it and I wasn't happy with the way it looked so decided to break out the machine polisher and give it another go over, if you don't like it now Marco there is no hope for you, one thing I have decided though is black paint shows up everything.

The aftermath (G3 splatter everywhere)-

the finished result, looks a bit better-

Daughter is a little sad to go, she likes it as others think when they see it she is driving.

Decided to re jig the coolers around as I wasn't happy with them, this Is the final result-

All loaded up and ready to go back, Marco you better look after it.

Nice to see it later in the year flying around the ring. Have to say you have had your monies worth, thanks for bearing with me, this car has seen, rain, snow, sun and even my little boy. i even under sealed it today, that's a nasty job.

See you in the morning mate. Time for you to get back on the thread now and add your bits, can't wait to see the orange wheels on it.

Carl

Although i have to be up in about 5 hours to get to Calais i don't think i'll get much sleep. I am just way to excited to get her back.

The exhaust is already here, the sports cat with my mate who will have finished the downpipe for monday. The wheels are clean and waiting on the car and the brake discs, pads and fluids are ordered as well.

See you in a few hours mate and thanks for having posted the progress on here.

No worries I will be setting off at 530 damn you. What's the distance you have to travel, obviously Luxembourg is or must be one of the smallest countries out there? Lol

Where shall we meet by the way?? We haven't even talked about that. I think the BP gas station would be a good meeting point? From there i can go straight to the entry of the port without having to take lots of roundabouds in the opposite direction Laugh my ass off

I can meet you where I did last time or the bp station? It's up to you, I would give the charger about 200 miles, it's already done 100 so that would be fine.
