got my a/c regassed 2 years ago all good but last month i was getting a hissing when turned on the the hissing sound would fade away and the a/c would be working, but yesterday it wasent coming out cold but still getting the hissing on start up. the hissing sound is coming from the glove box area.
does it just need regassing or has something broken

Pah,... Don't need aircon anyway!
all that extra weight just weights you down ask the poverty stricken 3 stripe boys! Smile

Sounds like a leak though!
and i wouldn't like to pull the dash appart to get to it!

if you go for a re-gass afaik they put a green gas through 1st and see if you have any leaks and where there coming from

mite be worth a shot if your that bothered about it?

Air con matrix is in that area. But not exactly a 2 min job to whip the dash out to have a nosey.

    It's just low on gass mate that's all you can hear, gas it up again and I am sure it will be fine, my Nile blue one needs re gassing every couple of years.
