How do you check for an ovalised hub?

Because my steering feel is still s**t. Wandering at speed, weaving under braking on bumps roads. Everything else is sweet so I'm wondering if it could be this.

    Quite likely.

Undo the pinch bolt and get a bar in between the subframe and the 'bone and lever the ball joint down and out. If an assistant does this you may be able to shine a light under and have a nosey.

How come its mainly the drivers side? This would make sense in my case as I get a knock when I get to full lock sometimes and as said I know everything else is good. How much is a new hub from Pug and will it come with a bearing already installed?

A new hub is around £240 from Pug, and yes it comes with the bearing fully installed ready to go. Yes
