Managed to fit the driveshaft yet?
Good choice with the window winders, I f*cked my leccy ones off. The door tray was vibrating and doing my head in!

I havent yet buddy no only because im waiting on my new uprated rear engine mount to arrive, should be here tommrow so then i can fit the pair at the same time. Cheers for the good deal on that again buddy Wink will make the world of differance. Yeh my leccy windows havent worked as they should since i got the car and the heaters in the 205 get very warm so its like an oven in there sometimes, fine if the sun is out cos down with the roof but otherwise it aint good, no worries now tho Smile

Time for an update on my little pug. Was haveing a few teething problems with it but all seem to be sorted now. Was getting a wicked missfire which appeared, changed plugs and seemed to clear it up then it came back so i stopped at the side of the road and started playeing with wires ect, found that the ecu had come unplugged slightly at one end causing the missfire, pushed back in and all is fine.

had to change a drive shaft so while i was at it i changed the rear engine mount for an uprated baker mount.

new one

then i thought it was time to make myself a nice header tank which i still havent fitted LOL

action shot Wink

the finished item

so for now the car is going great, few more mods to come soon so will keep updateing. cheers

another little update, ive been playing agin Big grin
Brouseing up the local car boot sale and found this nice strut brace off an fto apparently, nice and strong and ali so i was sure i could do something with it, and for £5 it was a bargin.
It started out like this

it lined up quite well as it was but had to fill 2 holes and dress them off to re drill.

then with a bit of marking up, a bit of cutting and some more drilling

the boss checking out the handy work LOL

and there ya have it, bolted back on, nice cheap but very good strut brace, makes the front of the car feel great on the road

And thats how you make a gto strut brace fit a 205 Razz

i also fitted some bonnet lifters as the strut brace would get in the way of my bonnet stay

And while i was playing with my welder i got some spare beam mounts and made them a bit more solid Smile

will fit these this weekend and prob do a few more jobs so more updates soon.
