hi, is there any way to get the little metal clip that comes with the rubber window holder grommet in. i've been trying for ages and it's making me so angry i almost 'lee306v6'd' my car. little f*cking piece of shit. can i just leave it off or will the window pop out of the grommet etc? i'm assuming i need it cos it came with it but i can't get any kind of angle or leverage to put clip it through________________________________________ Never underestimate the power of De-Nile.Friday afternoon car, built in France.... 306gti6.com Stickers available, pm me for details. or email MjStones83@hotmail.com Sticker Thread with pics |

Yeah I had a bit of trouble with it. Just keep at it, it'll go in eventually. I think I had the window half way up rather than at the bottom which Is what I tried first of all but I couldn't do it that way. Can't really help anymore was years ago when I had to do mine. ________________________________________ Phase 2 Blaze GTi 6 (Standard) SoldPhase 3 Supercharged China GTi 6 (249.8 BHP) Sold Phase 3 Supercharged Diablo GTi 6 (443 BHP)Sold Nissan 350Z (300 BHP) |

I found it harder to get the old clip off than the other way around.Put the bung in through the glass so that you know roughly where the two tiny holes are that the clip needs to go through. Line the pin up with the holes in the bung and push like feck to get the clip to pop over the grey plastic notch to secure it in place. Just move window into a position which makes it easy for you to get to ________________________________________ My Pugrun 2007/2009 video clipsTake a look Pugrun 2007...Lose yourself Xbox Live ID: Marksixysix (Forza 3, Forza 4 PES 2010, COD 6/MW2, WRC 2010). Suprised this is causing and issue. As mentioned, getting the thing off can be fiddly the first time you try it. Best way of getting it off is putting a screwdriver pointing up in the bottom of the door under the clip, and then pushing the window down so it slides out. Putting it back on, it just slides over. If you are having trouble getting the semi circle bit to expand, put some pliers between the top of the bung and open them to expand the clip and push from the bottom. Should ping over it then. ________________________________________ |

i found it easier to put bung in the window, push the spring clip all the way in and then whilst holding the bottom of the window+bung in place pull it onto the green clip. because of the shape of the green clip the spring clip should expand enough for it to clip on properly.best to do it with the window about ¾ down as then you can get your hands in properly in the big gap.... job jobbed ________________________________________ Ph2.5 Nile - Slowly trying to de-East London it and restore to former glory...Built on the 9 Febuary 1999 - Tuesday's car..is full of pace?
