Also, do I need to do anything to the ABS system to allow the brakes to be bled properly?

Could someone tell me the order you need to bleed the braking system when doing a fluid change?Have searched but couldn't find the info. system can be bled quite easily (as long as bleed niplles don't snap) i tend to bleed n/s/r - o/s/r - n/s/f and o/s/f but that's just me ________________________________________ FRESHLY RE-FURBISHED GTI BEAMSFITTING AND LOWERING AVAILABLE. It's best to start with the brake furthest the master cylinder, so (if you were sitting in the car) back left, back right, front left then front right. Although it shouldn't really matter. |

Haynes manual says passenger front first, then front drivers, then rear passenger side then rear drivers side, although as said I don't think it matters, I personally found starting with the furthest away from master cylinder and then bleeding diagonally worked best for me________________________________________ Team Supercharged Gti-6™ |
