None if using for track work.....they smear a compound on your disc when under the temps of track use.________________________________________ Team Astor Grey Supercharged GTI 6 |

Rob's using Carbon Lorraine RC6's now.I'm using DS2500's but have opted to try some ducting to try and keep the brake temperatures reasonable. I havent had any issues with my old DS2500's on track in terms of leaving pad material on the discs, and i did cook them at Oulton last november, just did a couple of steady cool down laps before heading into the pits. I have destroyed a couple of sets of brembo front discs in the past when on track and on the 'ring, but now i use zimmermann and havent had any problems so far ![]() I was going to get RC6's for my track car but i got these new DS2500's at a billy bargain price so couldnt really refuse them ![]() ________________________________________ Goldie the track car. |

1144's don't have quite the power or fade resistance of the 2500's, but they are better on the first stop or two first thing in a morning when cold.________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. I run DS2500s on my Rallye and not had a problem with deposits, done two trackdays with them. Would like something more aggressive on track though, but im limited using the standard wheels and it being a road car too. ________________________________________ Bang'in 7 gram rocks!I have one gear, GO! |

I can still do a 15% discount on DS2500's to GTi-6 members. |
