If this has been covered then apologies for not finding it myself - perhaps you can point me in the right direction.

I have a OMP 6 point cage that has come out of a shell to reinstall in another shell that apparently has the mounting points already installed.

Cant get it to fit nicely. Is it normal? Should I reinstall new mounts and where can I get them from - or should I get someone to modify the cage?

Please help

Speak to yb racing about the mounting points, they're the omp distributor in the uk. Personally i'de look at fabricating some itself tho, oh and no they don't fit very well but with a bit of fiddling about u can get them to fit ok. As for an installation guide try Ben 306 installation guide in the FAQ section it's pretty useful!Wink

the omp mounting plates are universal fitment, i.e for everything but fit nothing LOL

i made by own plates up when the cage went in my 205.

I had the same problem when fitting a 10point to mine last week, ive only just sorted it out.

I left the original mounting points in from the previous cage, but the new cage and the feet just didnt mate up, so i chopped all the legs off, made my own feet and positioned it best i could.

Ive got the old mouting points if you wana make me an offer on them, but if your cage is quite old, they might be different, as they where in comparison to the points already in the car.

Its easier to make up your own mountings for the cage. From the few Ive fitted, even the same makes in same cars, theyve been different so its easier to measure and make to each one.
