hi forum

so as the weather seems to be holding at "rather good" of late, i think its time to break out the polish and give the 6 a once over.

i was just wondering what you guys use/ recamend for getting rid of light paint wurls and alike that appear over the years,n to bring that showroom shine back out.

would be glad for you recamendations, mines a china btw

best of paying some one to detail/paint correction as theyll do a top job in removing the ''swirls''

right thanks man, il have to look into that i think at somepoint. iv gotta give it a good polish up myself to get a benchmark tho, that is if the dust will stay away for 5 seconds lol

Theres 2 details I would use,one in Cardiff and one in Newport.

Guy from Cardiff was visiting family in Ammanford so could fit me in at my home address.

I use Greased lightnings showroom shine. Brings my China up a treat and don't take long. No swirl no nothing. check out the China body mods thread in the exterior section for photos. Smile

As already said, if you've no experience of paint correction i'd recommend someone else doing it for you. Once the swirls are sorted you just need to practice a good washing technique so they don't come back and invest in a decent wax Thumbs up

dodo juice austintatious wax is good stuff. try meguiars #82 swirl free light cut or #9 mirror glaze swirl remover to get rid of your swirls, they both have just about the same cutting ability. its all about trial and error really it depends on how hard your paint is. have a look at poor boys black hole or white diamond (depending on colour of your car) its never a bad thing to apply a glaze before wax.
