Hi all, i have bought an 6 engine from a 2002 xsara vts, the exhaust manifold doesn't have the usual oval shaped flange to bolt the down pipe to, instead it has a flared fitting (the same idea as the mid to back box flared joint)will a xsara front pipe / cat join up to the 306 mid section? also, any ideas where i could get hold of the corrosponding flare thats on the vts front pipe? cheers |

I'd buy a GTI-6 manifold to dodge the issues.________________________________________ Ex SC-6Now in a Megane R26 |

as above!if you have a look in the exhaust catalogues and see if the Phase 2 vts centre section is the same part number as the phase1, then there's a fair chance you can use the V-Band type manifold and downpipe in a 306. if the part number differs, suck it and see! ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

The manifold isn't "totally different" it just has a different cat connection, designed for a V band instead of flanged. My Rallye engine is from a 2002 twin lambda VTS so I just swapped manifolds.________________________________________ I'm Si btwNight Blue VW Golf GTD Bianca LBSC Rallye - Track/Road Slag Project Thread Sparkling Silver Mini Cooper D - Super Dooper - (The other half's wheels) |
